DongneFit Privacy Policy

DongneFit ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the App handles and how.

1. Data We Process

Location (optional)

Collected: Current device location (lat / lng)
When: Only after you grant location permission, and only while the App is running, to center the initial map.
Storage: Used only in-memory on your device. Not stored, not transmitted to our servers.
If you decline: The App still works. The initial map centers on Seoul City Hall instead of your location.

Favorites and recent-view history

Collected: admCd (administrative dong code) and name of dongs you favorite.
Storage: On-device only (SwiftData local store). Not transmitted to our servers.
Deletion: Toggle the star off, or uninstall the App.

The App does not collect personally identifying information such as name, email, or phone number. There is no sign-up or login.

2. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following public/commercial APIs to display map and statistics. No personally identifying data is sent — only the coordinates or admCd of the area you are viewing.

The server proxy runs on Cloudflare Workers and holds API keys on behalf of the App. Individual requests may be cached briefly (15 minutes to 30 days depending on the endpoint) to reduce API load, but no personally identifying data is stored.

3. Data Retention

No server-side storage of user data.
Local data (favorites, etc.) is managed by you and removed on app uninstall.

4. Third-Party Disclosure

The App does not share user data with third parties.

5. Your Rights

You may:

Delete the App to remove all local data.
Revoke location permission in iOS Settings.
